Im working on a new project which is taking me on a musical journey through house and as much as I know Africa is where it’s at for deep musical influences, I didn’t realise how awesome it really is!
Last night I watched the brilliantly produced Real Scenes: Johannesburg by resident advisor which tells the remarkable story of the South African city’s thriving house scene.

It’s clear South Africans are the biggest consumers of house music in the world, and Johannesburg is the beating heart of their scene which home to the powerful duo that is Black Motion.
Let’s take it back with an oldie but a goody!
