Well that’s it! Another year, another batch of winners! But no, this one was a little extra special, not only was it the 18th Anniversary for the awards, but also the nominations and winners lists were both littered with the BEST OF BRITISH artists! YESSSS I’m so proud of nominees such as Shakka, Jacob Banks, Krept & Konan , Wretch 32 and more and even more excited to reveal the results!
Although the awards ceremony was a little awkward from time to time due to technical difficulties, Trevor Nelson and Sarah Jane Crawford kept it professional and continues to walk us all down the music memory lane, honouring some of the best artists in the world that ever stepped on the stage but also delivering a whole new batch of memories. Highlights of the night include performances from Naughty Boy ft Ella Eyre, Shezar and Krept & Konan, an epic finale from So Solid crew with 21 seconds, but my favourite performing act was Rudimental who gave us two perfectly high energy performances of Feel The Love and Waiting all night! THE LEVEL OF VIBSING WAS INSANE!!!!!
But enough with thee chitter chatter, CHECK OUT THE MOBO AWARDS WINNERS 2013

CONGRATULATIONS!
I have to send a big shout out in particular to Krept & Konan who totally deserve their best new comer award as independent act, Their fans really did come together to crown the young kingz as Best new comers.
Wiley, who is often called the god father of grime, has brought us nothing but bangers and opened so many doors for himself and others, has oozed out talent since the early 2000’s, and has now walked away with his first EVER mobo award. I still can not believe that this is his first mobo, so I guess it’s only right that he is awarded the BEST MALE award for years of musical excellence and to make up for lost time!
Also another BIG SHOUT OUT goes to the Rudimental crew, who continue to smash up every stage, with several “HOME” hits and also continue to change the game for UK music. Rudimental have brought their own unique style to the table and are killing it! Their award for best Album is nothing but THE TRUTH!!! All I can say now is ROLL ON THE BRIT AWARDS, we have a bunch of talented artists who deserve to get their recognition!
Congratulations to all nominees, winners and performers! Keep making us proud!
