The Brit Awards- Live on ITV1, Youtube and Live Performances

February 1, 2014 | by Remel London

For the first time in a long time I am actually really excited about the Brit Awards.

Some of my favourite acts of the moment are storming the nominations and many of which are going head to head! So it’s going to get really tense!

The Brit Awards have also stepped it up a notch and taking it global, they announced this week, the event will be live streamed on the BRITs YouTube channel around the globe; and fans worldwide for the first time will be allowed to vote for British Video during the show using Twitter.

Let’s hope it all goes to plan, as there are some amazing performances planned such as Katy Perry, Arctic Monkeys, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding and Disclosure are set to collaborate on the night with New Zealand Grammy Award winner Lorde.

Disclosure have absolutely been killin it with the collaborations, taking it overseas tag- teaming with Mary J Blige for a F FOR YOU remix and also introducing us to rapper Bishop Nehru completely switching up their style, so I can not wait to see what is in store on the night.

The awards will be aired live on ITV1 on 19th February hosted by one of the nations favourite actors James Corden and held at the 02 Arena!

Really routing for this event to stand out this year… the UK always gets a bad rep lol
