I am extremely honoured to be hosting a night at BAFTA to celebrate breakthrough actor Kayode Ewumi on Saturday 13th May 2017.

In celebration of BAFTA at 70, BAFTA will be honouring Kayode Ewumi to discuss breaking into the industry, acting and his YouTube mockumentary hit, #HoodDocumentary.

On the night there will be screening of the brilliantly manic, super hero, comedy fantasy The Mask (1994) starring Jim Carrey, before the onstage Q&A hosted by Remel London.
Nominated for three BAFTA Awards, including Best Special Visual Effects, The Mask has been specially chosen by Kayode as the film which has most influenced his career so far.

BAFTA is a long standing supporter of new talent and applications for this year’s Breakthrough Brits are now open. Please visit http://www.bafta.org/supporting-talent for more information on this and other exciting new talent opportunities.

Supported by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund

The film is rated PG

Members’ booking opens Wednesday 19 April at 09.30

Public booking opens Friday 21 April at 12.00
