On Saturday 21st January Remel London will be hosting the first of three panel discussions in a Let’s Talk About series brought to your by For Women Of Colour (FWOC) at The Yard Theatre.
The Panel discussion will focus on The Representation of Black Women in British Media.
Together we will lift the lid on what it is really like to be a young black woman trying to make it into a variety of professions within the media industry. We will also be discussing the support or lack of support shown by the men in our community, try to understand why Black British culture profits everyone but the Black British woman and more!
The event will bring together a host of women who work in media from writers, to online content creators, singers, journalists and more for a day of honest discussion, lessons and networking.
Be sure to have your questions ready for the panel, expect to meet new people and prepare for a good time
The “Let’s Talk About…” series aims to shed some light on the experiences of the Black British women who are creating or have made a name for themselves and want to share their knowledge and experience with others. By providing an open and honest platform, we hope the audience will be able to get answers to the questions they have always wanted to ask.
