A young artist by the name of Kojey tweeted me this evening with a message that left me shocked, a little confused and lost for words.
@KojeyRadical:
“I would not have grown into the artist I am today if @Remel_London didn’t say what she did at Collision and ignore me. I owe her a thank you”
He then went on to say
@KojeyRadical:
“@Remel_London I wrote a poem about a moment we met once … Take a listen, let me know what you think”
And here it is.
If I’m honest My first reaction was ohhhh noooo what did I say… Did i crush his dreams.
In this artistically executed Spoken Word piece, if I’m honest He done EXACTLY what I said to him back at the Link Up TV Collision event. He put an acoustic track behind his words and … Though i said be a rapper -_- He was right to not listen to me, but he developed the art of working with music!
I am a bit creeped out by the video if I’m honest, a few too many guns and knives for me, (I’m not a fan of violence, and considering you weren’t impressed that I “brushed you off” I’m still not convinced you were happy with my opinion) but overall I appreciate the dedication and as awkward as the past tale is, A poem inspired by me and being told I am an inspiration is amazing!
Thank you Kojey and well done for your creativity.
