I never would have seen this collaboration coming but it’s pretty damn special.
Stylo G has CLAIMED the Reggae, Dancehall and Bashment title and i’m so happy for him to be representing both Jamaica and the UK making music that is true to himself but also not watering it down.
His performance at The Great Escape festival in May opened up my eyes to realise he has such a general appeal and then again at the ILUVLIVE 10th birthday! He has an unstoppable performance ability. Black, White, asian, oriental whatever race and ethnicity you name it they can definitely vibe to a little bit of Stylo G and that’s so good to see.
In my eyes he is the new Sean Paul but he’s mastered the art of making universal music in the new age!
This is a shock to me, as Clean Bandit are a huge alternative pop act but the song is beautiful and effortlessly merges the two talented groups together and although it’s not the bassy sound I love from Stylo G it’s great to see a collaboration like this take place!
