Remel London Hosts @BrixtonReel – TryLife Premiere 25th October

October 17, 2014 | by Remel London

As apart of the Brixton Reel Film Festival the BFI has opened up their doors for the World Premiere of TryLife, a new interactive film made by the young people of Lewisham.

TryLife is a pioneering interactive drama where the audience can choose their journey. You make the choices, the character lives with the consequences!

Trylife Film Synopsis
At sixteen, Aaliyah has her whole life ahead of her. Her family is supportive, her grades are decent, and Jasmine, her friend and mentor, always offers advice when needed. However, Aaliyah has found herself getting closer to Terry, an older guy who has charmed her into a relationship. Blinded by attraction, Aaliyah has somehow allowed herself to get sucked into doing jobs for Terry and his so-called friends: Budge, Nizzy and J Stax. Terry has started ranking. In return, he gets new threads, money, drugs and alcohol. Will Aaliyah leave Terry? Or will she be drawn into the gang?

This event is 100% FREE but be warned it’s going to be crowded, so hurry now and register on Eventbrite to attend.

I will be hosting the Premiere and the exclusive Q&A with the cast and crew so I hope to see you there!
